how to hit a golf ball straightHOW TO HIT A GOLF BALL STRAIGHT:

THE  KEYS TO HITTING YOUR

GOLF BALL AS STRAIGHT AS A LASER BEAM

There are some easy keys to learning how to hit the golf ball straight.

The first key to learning how to hit the golf ball straight is to lock-in a straight ball flight alignment during the setup proceedings.

A straight ball flight alignment simply means that your clubface is locked-in to a square alignment and also, your clubface is locked-in to an on-line swing path during your setup routine.

Unbeknown to most, when you grip your hands on a club with either an overlapping, interlocking or baseball style of grip your clubface will rotate to an open alignment and an out-to-in swing path in relation to your shoulders to establish a slice ball flight alignment instead of a straight ball flight alignment.

What’s more complicated

is that any body-part movement after an overlapping, interlocking or baseball style of grip is formed on a club will cause the clubface to rotate to a different ball flight alignment during the setup proceedings.

Depending on the type and extent of body-part movements after initially gripping a club,  your clubface could rotate to a pull ball flight alignment, a push ball flight alignment, a hook ball flight alignment or worse, to a pulled-hook or pushed-slice ball flight alignment by the completion of your setup routine.

However, when you learn how to lock-in square alignment and, correspondingly, an online swing path of your clubface during your setup routine, you no longer will need to concern yourself with clubface rotations in response to body movement.

Once locked-in, all that remains is to align your shoulders parallel with your target line, center the sweet spot of your clubface directly behind your ball, keep your head steady and execute a simple golf swing.

Then watch your ball fly on a

straight path directly to your target

One of  the easiest ways to lock-in a square clubface alignment and an online swing path of the clubface during the setup routine is to follow the instructions in the Trouble Free Golf Technique  Special Report.

The Trouble Free Golf Technique Special Report is downloadable and can be sent to you instantly.

the perfect golf swing

The first of the four keys to hitting consistent and repetitive golf shots is to lock-in a straight ball flight alignment before you ever begin your golf swing.

One of my favorite techniques to lock-in a straight ball flight alignment during my setup routine is the Trouble Free Golf TechniqueTM. (I will discuss more about the Trouble Free Golf TechniqueTM later.)

The second key to learning how to hit the golf ball straight  and begin hitting consistent and repetitive golf shots is “ball placement,” sometimes referred to as “ball position.”

Ball placement does not require any movement of the ball (which is illegal in most cases once the ball is in play.) Rather it requires the body posture and the stance (feet) to be positioned in a proper and correct manner so the clubface will bottom-out at the ideal spot during the downswing.

Although instructors and golfers obsess about where the ball should be positioned in relation to the stance in order to achieve and ideal ball position,

Once A Straight Ball Flight Alignment Is Locked-In
The Ideal Ball Position Is When The Clubface Is
Centered Directly Behind The Ball Irrespective Of
How The Feet Are Aligned In Relation To The Ball

The reason why it is very difficult for instructors and golfers to determine the ideal ball position during any setup proceedings is because the clubface alignment and swing path are not locked-in.

As a consequence, the clubface alignment and swing path change with each subsequent body-part movement. This means unless a straight ball flight alignment is locked-in, any body-part movement during the setup routine will change the bottom-out point of the clubface even if the club is swung the same way each time during the golf swing.

The only way to achieve a consistent and reliable ball position during the setup proceedings is to lock-in a straight ball flight alignment and then center the sweet spot of the clubface as near to the back of the ball as possible without moving the ball.

This allows the clubface to bottom-out at the point the clubface contacts the ball which automatically occurs when a non-manipulative golf swing is executed with the Trouble Free Golf Technique.™

Otherwise, there can never be any assurance that an ideal ball position is established during the setup routine.

Unless a straight ball flight alignment is locked-in during the setup proceedings (the first key), any body-part movement during the setup routine will change the bottom-out point of the clubface, even assuming a consistent golf swing.

Likewise, any manipulation of the clubface to the outside or inside its established swing path during either the backswing or downswing of the club will alter the bottom-out point of the clubface, unless a straight ball flight alignment is locked-in during the setup proceedings.

The Third Key To Hitting Consistent And
Repetitive Golf Shots Is Target Alignment

Assuming the first two keys are achieved, the third key to learning how to hit a straight golf shot  is to align the shoulders (shoulder line) parallel with the target line during the setup proceedings.

Aligning the shoulders parallel with the target line is not as easy task. Unfortunately, most golfers merely guess as to whether their shoulders are aligned parallel with their target line.

Even professional golfers guess to some extent, especially those who claim a certain hole “does not meet their eye.”

Unfortunately, what most golfers and many instructors do not understand – it took me years to figure-it-out-is that

“Ball Position” And “Target Alignment” Are Intrinsically
Connected. You Change One, You Change The Other

As a result, one has to be constant if the other is changed is some way.

As discussed above, the sweet spot of the clubface must be positioned as near to the back of the ball as possible to form a constant. The shoulders must be aligned parallel with the target line while the sweet spot of the clubface is centered as near to the back of the ball as possible.

The fourth key to hitting a consistent and repetitive golf shot is to execute a non-manipulative golf swing.

A non-manipulative golf swing is one in which there is no intentional or inadvertent movement of the clubface to either the inside or to the outside of its established swing path during backswing or the downswing.

The best way to execute a non-manipulative golf swing is to lock-in a straight ball flight alignment by using the Trouble Free Golf Technique, center the sweet spot of the clubface directly behind the ball, ensure your shoulders are aligned parallel with your target line and then,

Keep Your Head Steady,Your Feet Planted and Simply
Swing Your Club To A Complete Backswing. Then Allow
It To Return To The Ball, Reflexively

Reflexively means without any forced movement of the hips or shoulders. None is required. The clubface automatically will return to the ball with a square clubface and on a swing path that matches the shoulders and target line and produce straight golf shots.

These are the four keys to hitting a consistently and repetitively straight golf shot.

One  of my favorite techniques to lock-in a straight ball flight alignment is the Trouble Free Golf Technique.

The Trouble Free Golf TechniqueTM consists of pushing the arms outward in a very specific manner between the time the left hand and right hands are gripped on a club with either an overlapping, interlocking or baseball type of grip. Then locking-in the alignments established at this point.

For the first time ever, the instructions to perform the Trouble Free Golf TechniqueTM are now available in a Special Report that can be downloaded in a matter of seconds.
